This month’s Coffee & Chat will be a chance to share our discoveries from the 1921 census. Has it helped you to solve any family mysteries or knock down a brickwall? Do you have any new avenues of research to pursue as a result of information on this census? Have you encountered any difficulties in searching the records? Or perhaps it has presented you with a new family history conundrum. Jenni Phillips will share what she’s found out about her family from the 1921 census at the beginning of this session. This will be followed by an opportunity for attendees to share their discoveries.
Jenni Phillips has 15 years of genealogical research experience. She is a committee member of the Cardiff Branch of Glamorgan Family History Society and Roath Local History Society. Jenni is also a student member of the Register of Qualified Genealogists (RQG). She completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde in 2021 and is now studying for the Postgraduate Diploma. Jenni’s ancestors are mainly from South Wales, where she has lived for the past 25 years, and the South-West of England, where she grew up.
We look forward to seeing you at this Zoom session.
