• how to find and order probate records after 1858
• searching for wills and administrations before 1858, with a particular focus on Wales
• the genealogical value of probate records and examples of information that might be included
• understanding the terminology used and some tips for reading handwriting in historic documents
• how to use wills left by other people to find information about your ancestors.
